What do Warren Buffet, Kylie Jenner, Elon Musk, and Beyoncé have in common? These millionaires (and billionaires) have mastered the fundamentals of business. In this interdisciplinary workshop diving into subjects within the social sciences (economics, business, psychology) and natural sciences/STEM (math), we will follow in their footsteps. We will ask and answer how money evolved to become our universal language and how the basics of economics govern our world. By the end of this class, you will learn how investing works, how to manage your budget, and how to use your resources to drive social impact. Get excited for our capstone project, during which each member of our class will present a business plan if they were the owner of their favorite company.
