In this hands-on experience, aspiring young designers will embark on a creative journey to transform their unique concepts into a stunning fashion collection. Participants will delve into the intricacies of the design process, learning how to articulate and refine their ideas into a cohesive fashion brand. Throughout the workshop, attendees will receive expert guidance on concept development, fabric selection, and garment construction. Collaborative sessions will encourage participants to explore their personal style, making each collection a true reflection of their creative vision. This workshop is not just about fashion; it's about fostering individuality, creativity, and the confidence to stand out in the ever-evolving world of style!

Workshop deliverable: During this workshop, mentees will work to complete a vision board for their brand. This will include a mood board, sketches of designs for their debut collection, fabric swatches, a brand title, a finalized color palette, and a detailed brand identity sheet that outlines the desired clients, price range, and brand aesthetic.
Meet the Mentor: Phoebe D. is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Political Science at Brown University. As if that weren’t impressive or cool enough, Phoebe is also a coxswain for Brown Women's Crew and is also the Director of Fashion at Brown's Design Team. She has worked one on one with designers in New York and Berlin, styling musical groups and constructing garments for Marvel shows, and is excited to share the beauty and craziness of the fashion industry with passionate mentees.
